Malgudi Amrutha Chaha is a start-up initiated by two enthusiasts with an intention of serving a healthy tea to their consumers. The reason behind the use of the words ‘Malgudi’ and ‘Amrutha’ in the vendor’s title is simple and meaningful. The word ‘Malgudi’ was used as a remembrance of television soap directed by legendary Kannada actor and director ‘Shankar Nag sir’ as both of the start-up initiators were sincere fans of the legendary actor. The word ‘Amrutha’ itself means never dying (Kannada words; a: not, mrutha: demise), as the tea is prepared using a natural, premium quality tea powder, sulphur free sugar and condiments. Using a heathy recipe of boiling for a particular time period and decanting, serves as a healthy drink enriched with antioxidants extracted from the tea powder.
